The quality of a meal is directly proportional to the peace of mind of the hands that cook it. At Ada Catering we regard our employees as our most valuable asset, and we treat a safe, fair working environment with room to grow as the foundation of our business.
Our Recruitment Principles
- The only criteria in recruitment are the competence and attitude the job requires; there is no discrimination by age, gender, origin or belief
- All of our employees are formally registered and employed with their full legal rights
- We give priority to local employment and prefer to develop team members from the Arsuz and Iskenderun area
- We value the willingness to learn as much as experience, guiding newcomers to the kitchen trade in the master–apprentice tradition
Occupational Health and Safety
- All equipment in the production area undergoes periodic maintenance, and the use of protective gear is mandatory
- Occupational safety training is repeated regularly; hazardous tasks are assigned only to trained staff
- Our employees' periodic health checks are carried out without fail
- Rest breaks and legal working hours are respected even in the busiest seasons
Training and Development
Every new team member goes through a hygiene and occupational safety induction in their first week. Our kitchen team receives regular in-house training on food safety, new cooking techniques and service standards. Employees who want to take on responsibility are given the opportunity to progress towards chef and team-leader roles — and when we promote, we look to our own team first.
Employee Satisfaction
We value open communication: every employee can bring suggestions and complaints directly to management. We eat our own food at the same table as our team — hierarchy in our kitchen never reaches the dining table. We stand by our team on religious holidays and special occasions, and we recognise the dedication of our long-serving colleagues.
